Job Overview:


We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage and lead both IT Infrastructure and IT Development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects related to IT infrastructure upgrades, network implementations, and software development and upgrades. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and partners, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning:
      • Lead the end-to-end project management of IT infrastructure (networking, data centers, hardware) and IT development (software applications, system upgrades) initiatives.
      • Define and document project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business needs and stakeholder expectations.
      • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget, and risk management strategies.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee projects involving network upgrades, server setups, cloud migrations, hardware implementation, system upgrades, partner system upgrade
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper resources allocation, the smooth deployment of infrastructure projects, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including network engineers, developers, systems analysts, and third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate project meetings, assign responsibilities, and ensure teams adhere to project timelines and milestones.
  • Risk & Change Management:
  • Identify potential risks across both infrastructure and development projects, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Manage change requests, ensuring that scope and timeline adjustments are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
  • Work with external vendors and service providers to source necessary hardware, software, and services for project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and outcomes.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
  • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are within scope.
  • Optimize resource allocation across infrastructure and development projects to maximize efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance & Post-Project Evaluation:
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality and reliability, compliance with standard practice and policy and have minimal service disruption.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned and driving improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager at least 3 years, leading multiple projects from inception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure and/or software development projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectively
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, systems, software development, and technical environments
